HIGS new Gaming Sessions

A Happy Lunar New Year to everyone! HIGS greets the 2007 intakes with some news; since our membership drives received such great response, we’ve decided to officiate new gaming sessions and re-announce the playgroups!

General gaming sessions:

  • Thursdays 16:00-18:00
    DSA, Wisma HELP.
  • Fridays NOON onwards
    DSA, Wisma HELP.

Playgroup sessions:

  • Chess: Fridays NOON onwards.
    Wai Onn will hold weekly training sessions for the chess playgroups members who’re either interested to improve themselves, and/or in the college team.
  • Scrabble: Fridays NOON onwards.
    Stefanie will hold weekly training sessions for the scrabble playgroups members who’re either interested to improve themselves, and/or in the college team.
  • DDR sessions: Thursdays 4 – 5.30 pm, 2nd and 4th weeks of the month
    First session will be held 15 March, followed by another on the 22nd. All DDR sessions will be held at DSA Wisma HELP.

Tentatively: DDR sessions, Friday NOON Magic, weekly GO, Monopoly tournament, Warhammer 40k expo, nostalgia week, etc

[ICoG] In Clouds of Glory

everyone’s probably out for Valentine’s; but this gamer had visited a fellow tech’s blog, where the most awesome WW1 game was reviewed. check it out!

Last friday I had the great pleasure and privilege of playing what must surely be one of, if not the best WWI dog-fighting boardgame in the world: Clouds of Glory. And believe you me, it is truly something to behold. #
