- What were the major games for each fiscal year?
- 2006 to 2007: Undeniably the two years of Magic: the Gathering. Survived 2 generations of A-Levels (I don’t know the precise numbers, not being of A-Levels myself, and still going strong now I do believe (this is early 2008.)
- How big is HIGS?
- In 2007, appx 100 members were on list, though core activity would number appx 25 people, including Chess, Scrabble, etc team members. As of the end of 2007 a minor excision was made and I would say HIGS had about 30 active members, with the remaining basically shifting to inactive status. However from reliable sources it’s believed that HIGS is growing steadily with new members coming in for games like Chess and Scrabble (yay).
- Who’s who in HIGS history?
- 2004 (?) Christopher, who handed the reins over to Gray and co.
- 2006 -Benny Ong (A-Levels), president for about 4 months and later handed over to:
- Edmund Chong (A-Levels), president from 2006 to mid-2007 and:
- Gray Ham (A-Levels),vice president and secretary at the same time. Credit to him for those 100 members we got
After Edmund and Gray retired: - 2007 – Voon Yee Ping (ADP)… That’s me. Um. Yeah. I don’t know what I did. Played tons of Magic and Scrabble I suppose. And then I ran off to study in a land far far away and passed HIGS into the hands of:
- 2008 – Tana (A-Levels), current (this being early ‘08) president along with Ho Ken Lee (A-Levels). Their achievements will be duly noted… when they achieve something
- Other notable personages:
- A certain Mr Aw, currently in Irishland doing interesting stuff like cutting up cadavers, I’m sure. Head of the Chess team from late 2005 all the way to 2007. Events: MACPU 2006 and 2007.
- Ms Lip, head of Scrabble from mid 2006 to mid 2007. Events: Taylors Scrabble Tourney 2006.
- Mr Chang (I hope I got your surname right) K. M. the present vice-president,
- Mr K. Ong who is the present secretary from mid 2007 till now,
- Mr Wesley, vice secretary,
- Ms. E. (I dunno your surname, I’m so sorry) who is treasurer, from mid 2007 until today,
- Mr K. Wong, present head of Chess,
- Ms. N the Scrabble head (Scrabblehead, Scrabblyhead…),
- Mr KJ the Cybergames and Magic head (Magichead, yes.)
- Mr A. Z. the Go head all the way from 2007 till today, possibly MIA (I hope not)

- Oh yes, plenty of big stuff. This is in the hands of the present president so it’s up to him to update.
