Games of Essen 2005!

Don’t you just love gaming conventions!? The very next one after Origins will be Gencon, US in august. But before that has even arrived Rick Thornquist of Gamefest.com has already put up a special preview of games that will be released in Essen, Germany in October. For your info, Essen is the biggest boardgaming convention in the world situated at the heart of the German gaming industry, which in turn fuels the German Revolution for designer boardgaming around the world. Memoir Expansions Coming In September!!!

Not just one, but THREE!!! The first one is the Terrain Pack with lots of new terrain, chips, scenarios, and such. The second being the Eastern Front which has units for the glorious Red Army of the rodina. TOURNAMENTS!!!

Competition drives the soul. Be it on the field with a ball or on the board with your hand of cards. HIGS is working to organize a foosball tournament and Help’s 2nd Monopoly championship by the end of the year, so stay tuned for more updates on this. In the meantime, you can play a part by spreading the word to your friends. Prizes are proportional to the number of participants!
